Riga Whisky Festival was created as an event for everyone interested in whisky, from those who want to learn about it for the very first time to those who already enjoy its great flavours and traditions.
During the Whisky & Cocktail Party at Koya Restaurant on May 26, our local experts and international brand ambassadors will be ready to help you better understand the complexity of how whiskies are made and gain their unique qualities. If you feel you have enough general knowledge about whisky, then you can just take your time and spend the evening trying our selection of close to 50 exciting whiskies and perhaps find a new favorite. We will also offer several whisky-based cocktails and wines for people who may prefer a lighter taste. These are available if you buy our Companion ticket. Of course, there will be great food, music and cigars as well.
On Saturday, May 27 daytime the party continues in spectacular manner with a Rum Brunch at the Left Door Bar, where we will offer 8 different rums to taste, accompanied by a nice brunch. Smokers can enjoy a terrific cigar on the terrace.
Our annual formal Whisky Dinner on Saturday, May 28 evening, with great whiskies by Kavalan, wine and cigars by Davidoff, will support the RH3 Children’s Cancer Foundation which provides children with support while they recover from cancer treatments.
Of course, the festival would not be complete without the Sunday Champagne Brunch on May 28, to help clean the soul. This year, our palates will be treated to chamapagne and delicious food at Riviera Restaurant. Nice easy cigarillos will be available for those who wish to smoke.
